Lumley Associates

Lumley Associates

Lumley Associates was established in 1994 and provides consultancy services to health and social care organisations and the Bar. We use a range of self employed consultants, associates and administrative and secretarial support staff and our networks offer the potential to involve other associates and advisors when desirable and necessary. We have an Advisory Board to call on and its members are, Professor Tony Culyer, Dr Lesley Sunderland and Mr Andy Bowden.

Our team of self employed people provide a breadth of consultancy knowledge and skills founded on our experience and understanding of health and social care systems. Particular strengths are our project management assignments in multi disciplinary and multi agency settings and implementing plans in partnership with our clients, which have included managing and facilitating significant change agendas.

Clients of Lumley Associates include Primary Care Organisations, Health Authorities, Secondary Care Trusts, the Departments of Health and Social Security, the Health and Safety Executive and the Royal College of General Practitioners.

We have, since 2005, expanded our work to include legal services as well as health and social services.

Current contracts include:

Providing the protected learning time programme, TARGET, for Leeds Primary Care Trust which involves organising and supporting at least thirty conferences a year

Providing education programmes for Out of Hours GPs

Teaching at the Postgraduate Medical School Leeds

Providing administration and management support, including educational programmes, for the North Eastern Circuit of the Bar.
